Personality Profile: Aquarius

Aquarius, mostly known as “The Water Bearers,” have birthdays that fall between January 20 to February 18. Contrary to the name and its affiliation to water, Aquarius falls into the element of air. People under this sign usually possess the following characteristics:

Positive Traits:

  • Creative
  • Friendly
  • Humanitarian
  • Independent
  • Intellectual
  • Original

Negative Traits:

  • Cold
  • Distracted
  • Perfectionist
  • Rebellious
  • Stubborn
  • Unpredictable

Despite their negative traits, Aquarius are social people who seek to make a change. They fight for a cause until matters are resolved. These water bearers seek to tend to the needs of others usually through charities, volunteer work, or a simple counseling session with people they meet. Therefore, careers in social work and charity suit them the most. Communication careers are also an ideal match for Aquarius who LOVE to voice their opinions.

Although they tend to try and find a solution, Aquarius still think about themselves and their needs. Highly self-motivated, Aquarius are independent beings. They prefer to do most things alone simply for the sense of freedom it gives them.

Aquarius thirst for freedom makes it very hard for them to settle down, because they can become easily feel confined. Put me in a box? No way! Self-proclaimed “non-conformist,” Aquarius dislike when people place them in a box and tend to run away. Although scared of being tied down, they LOVE love (even though they may not admit it). Aquarius are very loyal people and will stick by partners they feel are worth their time…and their freedom. Ideal partners for Aquarius are Geminis, Leos, and Aquarius.

Advice: Embrace your own identity and live in the moment, not the distant future
